We are currently upgrading to 5.5.  When working with the NetConfig GUI, if I scroll down to the bottom of the GUI, make a change, then apply the change by clicking OK, when the screen refreshes, it takes me back up to the top of the GUI.  So, once again I have to scroll down to the bottom and start all over.  In the 5.2 GUI, it always locks into place when I scroll to the bottom.

Is there a setting that can handle this or is this a bug in the 5.5 GUI that can be corrected with a patch install?

    Thanks….

      Hi Thomas,

I can only confirm that we have the same problem since upgrading to 5.5 last year.

I haven’t heard of a solution for this behaviour. So if there is a solution, I really would like to know. Because we have a very large (vertical) site, and scrolling down after each change is a real pain in the ass.

We are running CL5.5 on HP-UX 11.23 ia64. Could the OS have something to do with it? I have shown the problem to our local reseller/support and they had never seen this. Maybe because they primarily run CL on Windows.

CL 5.5 on AIX 5.3 with XP clients has the same problem… and yep.. annoying as all heck.

Here’s one solution… use that as justification to get a 60″ plasma/LCD display and a 8GB video card, and run at some unheard of resolution.

      😈
