5.4.1 Client install error

Hi all,

We are finally migrating out of the stone age. We have the Server loaded on a Linux box and I am trying to load the Client on an XP box. I get through the install and then get an error message:

c:quovadxqdx5.4.1integratorstartuphciclguiservice.exe

Access Denied

(0x5)

Any insight would be appreciated,

  Have you installed REV2? A few of the Microsoft patches caused changes in the OS security in Windows 2003. REV2 fixed this. Maybe the same patches effected XP as well.

  It sounds like your security policies do not agree with the password Cloverleaf installs. You can change the password manually to fix this.

  Thanks for the suggestions guys. What it turned out to be was the McAfee virus scanner. Even though I had it disabled, I still got the error. I removed the program from my PC and the client loaded without any errors.
