MEDITECH Magic does not support A19 request on the normal ADT interface, however what you could do is create a thread that writes to a SQL database and then have a thread the accepts the A19 request and pull the information from the SQL database.

Hi,

I am planning to construct a thread that will store the HL7 LAB messages in a SQL database, index against our hospital number and date but also a unique id.

Then want to create query thread that will receive our hospital number and date range via HL7, in return send the HL7 messages related to the select.

Has anyone does this or similar…Read more

With a MEDITECH RAD interface you must have two threads setup in Cloverleaf, one for the ADT and the other for orders, and then combine them when going to your PACS system.

Having them go to the same thread will cause port lock outs to occur in NMI, hence stopping and starting.
