<p>Things I missed:</p>
<ul>
<li>The CA path and file do not need to be from a CA.  Put in the path to the file and the filename for the cert you get from your trading partner</li>
<li>The public key and private key MUST MATCH.  And they must be generated from the same ke&hellip;</li>

<p>Development suggested using tcp/ip rather than pdl.  This didn&#8217;t work either.</p>
<p>Support then indicated it was new config and to contact account rep for consulting services.</p>

<p>Using keytool I pulled the cert into the .jks file in /home/hci, but it still doesn&#8217;t seem to present the cert to the other side.</p>

<p>I&#8217;ve created a TLS1.2 connection to AWS.  I&#8217;ve been given their cert and that gets loaded ok.  But the AWS side requests our cert and my side is not providing it (according to their logs).</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Jim &#8211; you are absolutely spot on.   Using the HL7 event to pass info to the SFTP file pickup thread didn&#8217;t work.  I really couldn&#8217;t get the filename and patient date passed in the msg meta data, and &#8211; it would also scan the entire folder looking for the file name passed.</p>

<p>And now, the openssh libs of AIX don&#8217;t work with the Cloverleaf libs (Cloverleaf libs are newer).  So, I&#8217;m kind of suck.</p>

<p>All was well when I received a result pointer HL7 event and used the filename in the content to go pickup the file using an sftp call in a tcl routing script.</p>
<p>Then, we got secure messaging and I&#8217;m trying to use base functions to do the same thing.</p>

However, you can always use Infor to setup your clustered environment &#8211; that has worked well for us to have the setup done and then we manage going forward.<br />

I&#8217;ve tried the binary encoding on the thread, but then I can&#8217;t get authenticated&#8230;</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve forced binary by using curl option &#8211; CURLOPT_BINARYTRANSFER 1.</p>
<p>And it is transferring binary, but I&#8217;m getting 80,000 extra bytes added to the file&#8230;.</p>

<p>Once you have the .RTF file, I&#8217;m using a windows tool to convert .RTF to .TXT from <a href="http://www.ultrashareware.com/Ultra-PDF-To-Text-Converter.htm" rel="nofollow ugc">http://www.ultrashareware.com/Ultra-PDF-To-Text-Converter.htm</a> </p>
<p>I like this tool b/c it was inexpensive and I can run it in a batch mode.</p>

I just set this up as a PDL/TCP with timeout set to 30 secs and with the 5.6 tpsmsgkill in place and it worked as I hoped / wanted.<br />
I needed to do this b/c we&#8217;re throwing away msgs after 3 tries with the current setup on some threads.</p>
