Using that FTP feature we navigate to the directory where your SMATDBs are stored on the Cloverleaf server and select the ones you&#8217;d &#8216;like to download. HL7Spy will start downloading them and if they&#8217;re encrypted, it will ask for the password, too.</p>

<p>Cloverleaf documentation really lacks and their WebService adapter is very bare-bones, you have to do a lot of the work through scripts. Not sure why Cloverleaf doesn&#8217;t provide adequate documentation. Perhaps they want you to use their &#8220;consulting services&#8221;.</p>

<p>You&#8217;re setting the message to null. You need to the set it the message you&#8217;re working with. If you&#8217;re not modifying the content at all, then you can just comment that line out. Try it that way since you seem to only be modifying the message metadata (not the actual data)</p>

If you&#8217;re using it out of the box those scripts have a KILL in their you may  have to change to CONTINUE for the message to be saved in SMAT. Not too sure, though.</p>
