no, was weird that I got a question on this post yesterday. have been away from CL for several years working with Epic at JHH. was not sure if the question was recent or some kind of delayed reaction. I have only one outstanding question on the list but it is not needed any more as they resolved it without me. thanx for checking on my sanity!!
was a long time ago so I really do not remember. I would try doing a ps -ef|grep lm_ to see what lock managers you have running. if all else failed we probably rebooted the server
it is being loaded on a laptop running Windows 7
June 11, 2014 at 3:10 pm in reply to: NetConfig v6.0.2 Verification Message – Cannot find Host #80763there is also an etc file called netsvc.conf which tells the system to check the local /etc/hosts file first or the network DNS first based on the order they appear in the file.
Thanx! I had read a lot of post that indicated the csv package and that was my next step but I wanted to make sure it was not some simple thing I missed.
The original file was text that I pulled into Excel in order to remove a column of data. csv was the closest type to save to in order to keep the file without the unwanted data. Any other suggestions of tools that might be able to do the same are appreciated.
Thanx!
Hey Jill, Merry Christmas!
I don’t see any attached files. I just worked thru an OBX/NTE iterate with the help of the Clovertech folks. Let me know if I can help!
OK, I set up the thread to use the UPOC and ran the test tool for the route and it shows the messages going to the correct destinations. the TPS tester still gives me an error about the wrong # of arguments but i am good thanx to all your help!
Thanx Michael and Ed! That helped a lot. I am down to one error and as Charlie and Jim say “it’s a list!” so I must be missing a list function somewhere. I am attaching the error at the top of a copy of the proc. It is finally doing what I want it to.
I have another related question as this is my first trxId proc. Once the trxId is returned do I have to edit the message to set up the right HL7 message trigger (MSH9) or will the message go to the route based only on the trxId? Thanx again for all your help!
So good to have folks that walked the path before me! I have it working now. I had to adjust my segment notations on the OBXs and then added a second iterate for segment for the NTE which fixed part of the problem. Then I re-read these posts and gave Keith’s suggestion a try and it fixed both my problems and I was able to remove the segment iterate and make the whole thing more readable and managable. Thanx guys, you are the BEST!
PS: I attached a screen print for those connecting SQ to Epic
Thanx folks!! As I was almost done with the post I suspected the iterate. I checked all the other points and will review the xlate tomorrow. Thanks for the prompt responses!! I got the re-install done by not using the aix.bin app for the wizard and just manually executing the ./install . at the command line. I was loading as root and I was using Exceed for an xterm window. I think it may have been a path problem or the fact that I was loading from hard drive and not CD. I am up and running and re-creating my sites now. Thanx!
Thanx AGAIN! That was the ticket. Thanx!
I’ll give it a try tomorrow and let you know what happens. Thanx.
As usual, you da man !! Working fine! Thanx.
OK, senior moment AGAIN. So it should be IF IBdata ne @null and not IF IBdata ne =null? Thanx!
