Basically, each Clvf thread has it&#8217;s own TCL interpreter. The xlate thread may have one or multiple TCL interpreters depending on it&#8217;s configuration at the process level. </p>

<p>Formatting names is a messy business which is why PID:5 is coded to separate names into many discrete elements. </p>

&nbsp; Unfortunately, there are no good solutions for the RTF to text, especially in Cloverleaf (or any other streaming application). </p>
<p>The brute force solution is to use a script to write the RTF to a file and have MS Word convert it to Plain Text and then load the resulting file back into your script.
