At this point, until Infor supplies a patch, my best option is to change my scripts to use ‘/usr/bin/env tcl’ instead of the symbolic link.

I encountered this issue as well.  You need to be running at least AIX6.1 TL8.  The top command that is provided by Cloverleaf is compiled for this version of AIX.

We started using the master site several years ago on 5.7 (AIX).  It was applied to existing installation with no issues.  You are correct that objects (scripts, tables, xlates, etc.) at the site level will take precedence over master site.

Cloverleaf support indicated that they never tested with MQ clustering.  I tried a variety of connection options, but was never able to successfully connect.  I did ask that this be considered in a future release.

We have used aliases in the past, but our MQ Admins are the ones that do the setup so I can’t be much help in that department.  I do know that this error can occur with a cluster queue.  The problem with that is Cloverleaf does not support MQ clustering.

The auto-reconnect time on a server connection is the amount of time that must pass before the thread will actually accept a new connection.

You’ll need to edit your client.ini file.  Assuming that you accepted all of the defaults during the client install, it’s located here:

C:quovadxqdx5.7integratorclientclient.ini

1.  Edit the ‘hosts:’ line and remove the invalid host
2.  Remove the pair of lines that look like this:

Contact your Cloverleaf rep.  They have a Win7 install for 5.7 that they can send to you.  You’ll still the need the rev2 patch, but you’ll need to modify the install_patch.cmd to make it think you’re installing in a WinXP env.

I’ve installed this on several Win7 enterprise PC’s without issue.

Another option would to be source hci’s .profile.  This will keep you from having to change any hardcoded values in cron if you upgrade since the information will come from the profile.

There is checkbox next to the the alert type for thread alerts that says ‘Thread Only’.  This essentially disables the thread alerting if the process in which the thread resides is down.  If this option isn’t checked, you’ll also get alerts when the process is down.
