There is a user called hci that is setup on the server during Cloverleaf install.

When logging in as the hci user in AIX, there is a .profile file that runs and sets up the environment variables.

Just seems weird that I have not seen this happen to a process since I started working with Cloverleaf about 6 years ago.

I have other processes in our test region that don’t have any activity overnight, after the automated job runs, and they all go back to either opening or up state.

But, I have tried to use a counter without a %g, %s, %f, or %l and the xlate won’t compile.

Like this simple action:
COPY       =1 -> {$%d98}

Produces this error in XLT testing tool:

We had a similiar issue with stopping threads from the GUI and had to stop and restart the whole process.

But, nothing like the many issues you are experiencing.

Part of maintenance is booting the Cloverleaf

IDE uses two ports for communication.  Here is a netstat listing for my IDE connection from my workstation.  It is communicating on two ports.  Also, not sure if it uses the same two ports each time you try to connect.

Also, to reinitialize the Recovery databases, you have to be very careful.

Seems messy and makes for more work and undesired downtime.

I had the same problem and had to add the below code to my script to
get the file creation to work.  Had to “export” the cloverleaf site variables.

Did they tell you why they want to cycle the thread after each message?

This will always make the field 7 characters long and pad with zeroes if needed.

When I started an Xsession on my PC and also use the “:0”, then the command worked

We are also a McKesson/Cloverleaf customer.  Not all, but some of our interfaces go thru a Firewall.  So, it is possible, if configured correctly by your Network Team.  I would work with them and you should be able to get it working OK.

Yes, it can be done.  But, I try to avoid “messing” with result messages as much as possible.

These are patient results and clinical decisions are made from these result messages.
