Then if you have multiple messages in the file, search/replace 0d 4d 53 48 with 0d 0a 4d 53 48 to insert the 0a between messages. Also make sure that the last message in the file ends with 0d 0a. <p>I also don&#8217;t think that you&#8217;ll have specific performance or &#8220;unexplainable&#8221; issues with separate processes. We tend to keep our inbound and outbound threads in the same process as it is easier to group related items when modifying, shutting down, or bouncing processes. <p>While it wasn&#8217;t with a VRL, I once had an SFTP tool change the ending characters of each segment in a message which threw off a vendor&#8217;s import. &nbsp;I had to do a binary file transfer instead of a file transfer.</p>

<p>I am under the assumption that I can&#8217;t do a contains type of lookup in the table. &nbsp;My problem is is that OBX5save might have more text than just the word I&#8217;m looking for. &nbsp;So lets say OBX5save is set to &#8220;Encountered STAPHYLOCOCCUSAUREUS value&#8221;. &nbsp;Then the IN would fail to find it&#8230;correct?</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I typed this out quickly, so not sure if the syntax is correct. &nbsp;Basically, get the incoming message. &nbsp;Go through each segment. &nbsp;If the segment is one that you want, append that segment to a variable. &nbsp;If the segment is one that you don&#8217;t want, don&#8217;t append that segment (skipping it). &nbsp;Then set your outgoing message to that variable.</p>
