<p>Thanks. I grabbed the latest version of pdf4tcl and when running a message against it found that it requires Tcl version 10.0. I had to go back a version that still supported Tcl 8.4/8.5 and the package works fine. </p>
<p>It works fine living in the directory under &nbsp;$HCIROOT/tcl/lib/tcllib-1.16 </p>

<p>What I had to eventually do was change the encoding on the outbound thread to ISO-8859-1 in conjunction with the string map call. </p>

<p>Just in a certain segment? Throughout entire message?</p>
<p>I&#8217;d be inclined to write a Tcl pre-proc that would loop through each segment and remove those, since you build the output buffer and can put the r back on the end of the segment. </p>
<p>You&#8217;d have to ensure the r is the last character in the segment when splitting the message. </p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Charlie, I talke to Jim Kosloskey and he informed me that I needed the extra set of curly braces around each set of list items. By doing so, I could loop on each &#8220;set&#8221; of arguments and then do the keylget stuff.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I changed the disp to &#8220;OVER&#8221; but now an outbound message is pending. When I look in the DB Administrator, I see two messages. One is the ACK for the converted ORU to A08 message. Message is a REPLY PROTOCOL with a state of IB pre-SMS. The other message is the A08 itself which DATA PROTOCOL in an OB reserved for IB reply state 16. </p>

<p>This is exactly right. Here is my setup for the outbound thread:</p>
<p>In the outbound tab, I checked &#8220;await replies&#8221; with a -1 timeout, a cl_check_ack for the TPS Inbound Reply and put a HL7Raw_ack proc in the Reply Generation section. Figured I needed to do this so the receiver could generate an ACK. <p>I&#8217;m confident that a &#8216;-&#8216; in the filename is a no-no. However, after correcting one such occurence on our prod site, we still can&#8217;t validate successfully. I&#8217;ve been through the tclIndex and NetConfig files too many times to count and I can&#8217;t see where this is failing validation.</p>
