In my upgrade experience from AIX to Linux, I found out the mail acts differently.</p>
<p>If the message body has &#8220;control characters&#8221; in it, Linux will convert the body to an attachment. ATT.bin</p>
<p>Usually I echo an HL7 message that has carriage returns in it.<br />
While I got away with this in AIX, it got me in Linux land.</p>

<p>Inbound latency sounds to me that the timer starts when a message is received and will alert if it takes longer than x to process a message from start to finish.</p>
<p>And the FOR setting means the alert needs to be true for &gt; 2 minutes.</p>

<p>It looks like the hostserver is trying to talk to someone but is getting blocked by the router?</p>

<p>One thing you could try though is getting rid of the comments on the same line as commands in your run statement. Put them on their own line.</p>
<p>There was an issue with this in the past.</p>

I would suggest opening a ticket with Infor pointing out that the check box option is not working as expected.<br />

<p>We had the same exact issue yesterday.<br />
I am trying to find out what the cause and resolution was.<br />
There was some issue with a Palo Alto firewall change.<br />
A sister hospital also had the issue. 1380 was the magic number.</p>
<p>input buffer <s><span></span></s>accepted 1380 bytes, now 1380</p>
<p>I&#8217;ll let you know more when I find out.<br />

<p>Usually I find that it is returning &#8220;KILL $my_mh&#8221; and if $my_mh is not valued (null), it returns &#8220;KILL &nbsp;&#8220;. Which is what it is returning.</p>

<p>They probably don&#8217;t realize that they are doing that. I find connecting with Mirth on the other end has this happen until I bring it to their attention.</p>

<p>But looking at my code further it would get fouled up on &#8220;STUrPID&#8221;, &#8220;LIrPIDS&#8221;</p>
<p>(LIPIDS has bitten me in the past when looking for segment id&#8217;s) 🙂</p>
<p>So you would need to define the segment list like MSH| PID| OBR| and compare the range to 0 3 instead.</p>

<p>We have a VMAX results interface which is famous for this. (It just happened yesterday so this is great timing)<br />
We use this code and kill the messages, making them go back, fix the result and resend. Sometimes it takes an attempt or two or three for them to get it right but eventually they do figure it out.</p>

<p>/hci/cis6.2/integrator/lib/libz.a<br />
to<br />
/hci/cis6.2/integrator/lib/xlibz.a.bak</p>
<p>There is another libz.a on the O/S.</p>
<p>Hopefully I haven&#8217;t screwed something else up by doing this.<br />
I have a support ticket open. I&#8217;ll let you know what they say.</p>
