									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We have an HL7 input being output to a single-line flat-file.  We have an HRL that combines multiple VRLs (per segment).  The input is lab results, so the OBX repeats and is needed to repeat the result component string (component name + result + uom) for as many OBX segments are available.</p>

<p>This process was created to SMAT inbound messages from an external system. It was setup to receive then split to SMAT threads based on message type. Consequently, those are <em>outbound</em> threads.  We were SMATing on the inbound message (on an outbound thread).</p>
<p>No issues with expected SMAT behavior.</p>

<p>Two gotchas we found were:</p>

<p><strong>ROOTCOPY</strong> : for this server, several procs were stored in the rootusercmds directory and not on the Master site or site tclprocs directory.  Consequently, those procs did not get converted during the process. [Lesson learned for future builds]</p>

<p>We have never done multiple messages contained in one file.  Seeking assistance on the best way to tackle this.  The file terminates each message within the file with a FS [file separator].</p>
