I use the advanced criteria option on the DB SMAT Database to look up select messages. If that is not the case, like Debbie says, close out of the GUI and then go back in.

Multiple instances of SMAT in one client connection would be great, but bringing up another client and then using a second screen to see your “after translation” message when the first client has the “before translation” message is much easier to make a comparison. When you’re in the client you can only see one tab at a time anyways.
