About the time this started happening we had gone live with a system called Ignite. it creates a huge alias in PID:3 that exceeds the HL7 spec for length . They provided a script to truncate this field.  We hadn&#8217;t installed it. But now we did and it has no impact.  Infor support has no idea what could cause it</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I took out the call to the tcl proc that checks for a valid room from the xlate and used a pre-proc that does the same thing to kill the message before it reaches the xlate if there&#8217;s not a valid room. &nbsp;Now messages without a valid room are going to thread that had the missing messages (it doesn&#8217;t care about rooms).</p>

Initially I was only given 4GB of which almost 70% was allocated which I&#8217;m sure was causing a lot of disk caching. I now have 8GB and I have removed a couple of processes and right now the engine is quiet. I hope it stays that way.</p>

<p>After making some changes I noticed that after bouncing the process, the changes weren&#8217;t taking effect. I rebooted the engine and my changes started showing up. &nbsp;Weird.</p>

<p>But adding it to the client.ini in 6.0 didn&#8217;t have any effect.</p>
<p>I wish the powers-that-be at Cloverleaf had let us decide which works best for us.</p>
