Thank you Rob, that worked perfectly.

The directory for the file pick up is empty. I even changed the directory to look for the file and the same error occurs.

I actually added the RTF tag to beginning of the statement I needed at the top of the transcription report. I added an OBX before the OBX with the report and it worked beautifully.
Thanks
Hello, were you able to get this working. I am trying to do the same and so far I have not been successful.
Most of the files I get from Lawson I use perl in kornshell scripts to change the message format. Most of the time the MSH segment is missing from the inventory data. I have some examples if you want them. Lisa
Thanks, this is solved. The OB Variant name was ORM_MDH and with a copy or pathcopy it was reverting to the ORM_O01 OB message structure. Hi, I am unable to use the features in Cloverleaf for getting these file. The format of the HL7 charge file has the incorrect end of line and message terminaotrs, along with batch header and footers in the file.
So with K-shell I can pick up the files, then with perl I would reformat the file. Then I can use the engine to process the data.

Since HDX sends the heartbeat tests, we have a script in cron that runs every 10 minutes that cycles the threads, thus fooling the heartbeat tests. Yes we did that last year. We followed the setup suggested from QDX manuals for the X12 interface. Epic did have 2 custom programs they added to the interface for our site. Where ever there is problem with the interface it normally is a Epic Billing setup change. Our Prelude analyst corrects the setup and it runs like a charm.
