You are correct –
(i.e. if $ORC13 is “5”, and $PID3 is “123456785”, your output would be “1234678”)

commented out my work and pasted in yours – No change in outcome.

set ORC13 [ lindex $xlateInVals 0 ]
echo ORC13 = $ORC13

Thanks Charlie – this is very helpful for the next case I run into something of this nature.

Jim and I worked through my xlate OBX issues yesterday – and we were able to do away with the TCL preproc in this case. Thanks again to Jim K!

The variant – has the OBX in it –
The message never does.

The inbound message has an NTE that has to be parsed up into

I’ve only been successful with getting my Xlate to work by creating a message with a single benign OBX.

Well that seems to work – but some how it seems like a cheat 🙂

When I do the iterates on the xlates for these same messages its not a problem – it really seems like the the message should be able to cascade through the message and report out each OBR as it goes along – and not repeat without have to do what your solution is. NOT THAT I’M NOT GRATEFUL!!
