Nancy, I’m running an old version (3.8.1) on NT.  I’ve got a process that reads a local file and writes to a network folder.  I have my network folder mapped (I:).  Then in my outbound thread definition, under outbound directory I have I:.

2 Encoding Characters  ^ ~ &

This is their standard, but the document does say “may vary”.

I checked the our trace files and see \T\ for the &.
