									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>FWIW I&#8217;ve been able to install the 5.6 IDE on Win 7 by installing it in Microsoft&#8217;s 32-bit virtual machine (the exact name escapes me and I can&#8217;t get to that machine at the moment). &nbsp;The VM is a free download from MS. &nbsp;I haven&#8217;t really run it much under the VM but what little I&#8217;ve done with it seems to work.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>One of the ways we&#8217;ve tested upgrades in the past is to send production inbound SMAT files through the test/upgrade inbound thread, and then doing a diff against the outbound SMAT files. &nbsp;We&#8217;re planning on doing a 5.6 to 6.0 upgrade this summer. &nbsp;Will that methodology still work if we use these utilities?</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We ran into a minor problem with McKesson STAR. &nbsp;For ICD10 codes, STAR passes the coding method (DG1.2 and PR1.2) as &#8220;I10&#8221; and we found this got truncated when we had xlates, depending on which variant was used. &nbsp;Easily fixed but still something to watch for.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>That&#8217;s what it looked like to me when I was testing it. &nbsp;I&#8217;ve also done manual purge caches via the IDE when a table is updated and that seems to work too. &nbsp;There was a time when purge cache seemed to be unreliable but now it seems like it works (we&#8217;re on 5.6).</p>

<p>/quovadx/qdx5.6/integrator/bin/hcicmd -p  -c &#8221; purgex&#8221;</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Just an FYI but at our site (we&#8217;re also a Star shop) the ZCV segment doesn&#8217;t exist in the &#8220;HBOCHI&#8221; (2.2B) outbound ADTs. &nbsp;It also looks like the ZCV.3 only sends the employee number and not the true &#8220;OS ID&#8221;, as Star calls is.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We&#8217;ve been sending EKGs from MUSE with uuencoded PDFs in a Z segment for several years now. &nbsp;I just checked some of the messages from today and they&#8217;ll all close to or greater than 100K and we&#8217;ve never had an issue. &nbsp;We on 5.2 (an upgrade to 5.6 is IP) running on HP UX and we send to ChartMaxx, not HPF.</p>
