Or am I crazy?</p>

<p>But I&#8217;m looking at the actual messages, and even sent some test ones, and it&#8217;s definitely receiving and passing along names that are way longer than 48 characters&#8230;</p>

It&#8217;s in the middle of processing these files when I stop the thread, when I restart the thread, it continues processing where it left off. Is there a way to flush the &#8216;memory&#8217; of this thread so that it does NOT keep processing what it was before I stopped it?</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So I&#8217;m trying to pathcopy/pass through an entire ZFM segment from a HL7 2.3 inbound to a 2.4 HL7 outbound. But the 2.4 HL7 doesn&#8217;t have a definition for ZFM, how can I just add it into the 2.4 definition, and thus have a place to pathcopy the 2.3 into, without messing up anything else?</p>

<p>So right now we have a normal  TCP/IP inbound -&gt; outbound interface, I want to add a file-based inbound that will occasionally send messages from a text-based file if there are any files in a directory.</p>
<p>Is this normal/do-able?</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>sorry question, for the nl style in fileset protocols, doesn&#8217;t that mean newline? and if that&#8217;s the style for file separation, isn&#8217;t newline usually the <em>segment </em>separator?</p>
<p>the way my file is now, the the newline separates the segments and the 0x1c and 0x1b separates the messages&#8230; which style should I pick in this case? Single?</p>

<p>Hmm ok, yeah that sounds similar to something I was imagining. I know sqlite is mentioned here a lot but could the same be done with SQL Server? We already have/use that in our org so we&#8217;re more familiar with it.</p>
