I enabled the firewall on our RHEL last year and it is working without issue.  It sounds like you might have not have cloverleaf configured to work behind a firewall.  If you haven&#8217;t already, read the &#8216;Firewall&#8217; section in the Cloverleaf Documentation.</p>

<p>I&#8217;ve had this happen as well. &nbsp;The issue at hand was there was a large volume of messages in recovery db. &nbsp;When each thread was starting, it would check every message to see if it was owned by that thread. &nbsp;I discovered this by turning up the logging level.</p>

<p>Changes to the outbound tab wouldn&#8217;t be needed for an inbound thread from meditech.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I seem to have the same issue as you at two of my clients. &nbsp;I haven&#8217;t yet figured out the cause. &nbsp;The monitorD correctly parses the alerts file, but doesn&#8217;t crash until the alerts fires. &nbsp;And whats frustrating, is if I move this alert file to their test box and try to reproduce, it works fine.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The issues is the images become corrupt when they are FTP&#8217;d to the receiving system. &nbsp;In the source thread I have a TCL upoc that writes to the server (for archiving purposes). &nbsp;At this point, I can open the images and they look fine. Once they are FTP&#8217;d to the destination they will not open. &nbsp;</p>
<p>Does anyone else use the engine in this manner?</p>
