      Thanks for the reply

I did post a ticket as well the entry here.  We are currently in a server and release upgrade project, going to release 6.1.2

initial reply was not 100% certain on an answer. The person wants to do some research rather than post an initial reply, and if incorrect, then follow with an update.

Support person wants to run this by development to verify for 6.1.2.

Also support is asking them if this would be better handled by 6.2 which has just been released in the last few days.

        Max —

along with the first post, I was asked if the interface engine can support receiving a PDF via a DICOM message and then sending it to an external system?

Currently on 5.8.4, currently have an upgrade project for servers and 6.1.2

would v6 be the release to be on to handle what the clients are asking for?

Thru the VPN connection, have been experiencing the IDE Testing tool not returning when initiating a test. the other item that does not return is  using the IDE database tool.   command line works great.  but for some, they like to indicate they can’t get things done if not using the IDE.   Other related use such as Monitor,  site daemons or SMAT don’t go off into never land.

we are in the process of implementing eScription to Epic.  One of our issues is eScription will send the same provider info in TXA-9 & TXA-10.  Epic Bridges does not care for that.  Did you encounter this and create a work around?  eScription wants to know if I check these fields and they match, can I clear out one of them.  I tried this but I believe the transcription does not post to the correct place in Epic.  We are also trying to implement partial dicatation for Epic progress notes.  Have you come across anything we should watch or catch.

We found out that what would create the data for our feed to State Department would be a workbench report from Epic.  Epic has stated they do not have HL7 interfaces for everything.

Thanks for the reply.  It dawned on me several hours later to look at the CIS 5.7 server.ini       I saw the rmi_exported_server_port= our vip

We have a section in our server.ini marked firewall.  We have entries because of Global Monitor and there was a statement for host server default port.

I again thank you for the feedback.  It would have been a life saver

I just installed CIS 5.8.4 on our Primary server as a separate version.  Current prod version CIS 5.7 works fine.  When starting the 5.7 IDE, I can use the Virtual IP DNS name.   But, when I open the CIS 5.8.4 GUI, I cannot initially use the Virtual IP DNS.  I can enter the actual server DNS, and select a site.  From that point on, I can use the Virtual IP if I choose.  But once I log off, then I would have to start over.   I was not involved when 5.7 was installed.  Not sure if there is some entry somewhere that needs updated.  Think I may try and contact the Lawsom person that was involved, but that was two years ago.

I’ve read two different posts about UHC and the x12 278 process.  Have not noticed any new posts in the last year and a half.  We originally had a project in 2010, but that got cancelled.  Received an email today wondering where were at with the project.  Indication was that the electronic feed needs to be active 4/01 or face some penalties on accounts.  Original project cancelled because department was handling a different way.    Noticed Jim’s last post stated their place was handling outside of integrations.

Anyone have new UHC connectivity information to share?   Possibly any IDE xlates or Tcl procs?

We have Cloverleaf version 5.7.3 and version 5.8.4 running fine on the Test server.  One Item I forgot to ask about before:  we have the advanced Cloverleaf security server.   Need to get version 5.8 but does anyone know if you can run different versions of Cloverleaf Security on one Windows 2003 server?      OR am I stuck asking for hardware……

The CIS 5.7 and 5.8 environments on one Linux environment works out fine.  Making great movement on the Epic interface projects and leaving the prod support test environment alone.  But, can’t move forward now without making sure the security works.

I’ve installed CLoverleaf command line before, but can you install ODBC without having an XTERM definition?    I’ve tried the ODBCinstall -l console and this wants an XTERM definition.  anyone done this before?

I noticed that the last post was several years ago, does anyone have any recent updates to share?   Epic appears to be very busy with Hospital imstallations.  We are starting our own two-three project.

The data volume, especially the post on what occurs at midnight concerns me.

There is current development on Adt to TeckSys (SMS?) and DFT back.  TeckSys needs to develop the interface, but against GE Centricity and will be FRL and FTP.  But, we need to possibly adjust some field length values related to Epic so we do not have to create a conversion in a year from  now.  People are questioning what the medical record number (or Epic number) should be, possibly should change from being a length of 8 or 10.  Along with with Hospital Account Number being greater than 10.   The Epic Charge Inbound Tech reference or Adt Outbound Tech reference does not indicate the HL7 field length for PID-3 or PID-18, just that PID-3 has a location of EPT 2060, 2061.

Thanks for the positive reply.  I’ve read the release notes and the install notes.  There are a few pre-items to handle.  The part I’m not clear on is the IDE (GUI) environment, but if we can get the approval, this would all be known using our dev system.  Steps documented, with time estinates before moving to the test and UAT systems.  I know the Dev system MAC address, but I’m having trouble getting thru to Lawson on requesting a license key.  Documentation says CRM at Healthvision but this returned undeliverable.  I thought it would be Lawson.com since everyone elses changed with the company.  The email never returned undeliverable, but I’ve received no reply.

Also, I wanted to let you know that a Lawson person is connecting into our system this afternoon to check/try about our problem.  It could be something with a OS setting, or a combination of OS and GUI.  If we find out anything, I’ll update the post
