Thanks for all help
What is the difference between the interval and the timeout? Thanks
If the connection status is open does it try to resend and que up the resend messages or does it try to resend only if the thread status is up.
Thanks for all the info and help
Thanks I hope I can get this setup. O.K. here are some stupid questions.
I down loaded to my PC can I now rename and take off the .txt and ftp it to aix box or do I have to use vi and type it in?
Once I have put it in the correct location which is usercdms I will have to vi the file and make my changes or can I do it in word pad and then ftp the file.
I am assuming since this is a Script that I do not have to index?
To do a test run do I have to be in usercdms directory?
I just emailed you.
Thanks
I will email you.
Thanks for the help I do see it in 2.4 we are using 2.2. However I did find a tcl on this site and I modified it and was able to trim the ~ out of the message. Thanks for all your help
There is no stardard A60 in the engine so I would have to create a variable and the xlate. I ran command hcidbdump -r -d threadname | wc -l and I got a count of 46500 messages. So I figured if it could count then it should be able to delete. I then ran hcidbdump -r -D -d threadname and it worked.
But this time no control C.
Thanks for all your help
Thanks Tom
Does anyone know how I can delete the messages now that I have changed the config file.
