I think Jim has an interesting idea. &nbsp; &nbsp; Try to find out if it would be ok to send a complete separate message for each of those OBRs you would build.<br />
If yes, build a separate route for each possibility (A., B., C., D&#8230;.), and have the translate in that route just make the needed adjustments specific to that route to the original OBR.</p>

Most systems will be consistent and always put the ID in PV1-7.1 and the name in PV1-7.2<br />
That aside, if you&#8217;re trying to determine if a field is numeric or alpha, you can use the tcl command &#8220;string is&#8230;&#8221;.<br />

It says the code(s) can&#8217;t be derived from the original data, &nbsp;but has to be random. &nbsp; I think the &#8220;key&#8221; it refers to is not a decryption key, but more of a matching key that associates the random code to the true identity.</p>

<p>I had tried the iptrace command someone else posted&#8230;<br />
(&#8220;iptrace -a -d 123.12.12.123 -p 1224 -b trace.log&#8221;)&#8230;but I got an error saying&#8230;<br />
&#8220;iptrace: 0827-861 Cannot load or configure trace kernel extension&#8221;<br />
