Hi David,

What happens if you don’t happen to know how big Oregon is?

Shouldn’t clock format pick up the local settings on the server and use these when doing this type of calculation? Or is this only true when getting a date/time directly rather than doing a calculation?

I haven’t tested this but that’s how I thought it worked.

Regards

Hi Jason,

I’ve got some routines that may help. I’ve got a modified version of James Cobane’s convert_smat that maybe useful to you. This converts a SMAT to a newline terminated file that can be edited/searched in a text editor. I’ve also got some scripts that cycle SMAT that can be run as scheduled tasks.

Email me if these are useful to you.

Hi,

You should be OK. From memory, Java is installed in the Cloverleaf environment and is only accessible if you are in Cloverleaf or a hci enabled shell. If you then install Java as a normal install the two should sit side by side. I’ve actually had two versions of Java installed normally and the Cloverleaf install on one machine and used…Read more

Hi Mark,

I’ve never done it but it should be possible. Have a look at tCOM for accessing the spreadsheet if you are using Tcl. If you know Java then there is a open source library called jExcel which also may be of use.

I hope this provides you with some inspiration.
