									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>That&#8217;s exactly the parameter that documentation suggests to change on the client.ini</p>
<p>however, it doesnt seem to take it into account when trying to connect. It still wants to use the default 13019</p>
<p>Anything special once has to do in order to make the IDE client read the client.ini properly??</p>

<p>we don&#8217;t have a windows server. Backend is on linux</p>
<p>what we are trying to do is make the IDE client use another port which is not the default 13019</p>
<p>According to the docs is doable via the client.ini however, I tried the suggestion and didnt seem to make any difference</p>

<p>By forwarding x11 traffic to Xming finally we can see an installer window now</p>

<p>We are trying to run the installer from an xterm window by executing ./linux.bin and we are getting the same graphical mode error</p>

<p>We have installed xterm, x11 and real vnc server</p>
<p>is there a log file anywhere?</p>
