I think that is possible. You only have to specify them if your message formats are different, so paths to fields are different. I have xlates, where I use include with the same ib and ob message formats and I don’t use prefixes.

have you execute the gvsave command after setting the new value? Otherwise you only update the variable in memory, but do not write it back into the file. I’m using the following

and my global variable LASTSCANDATE will be updated in the file.

the attached zip archive has two tcl scripts for converting a Cloverleaf table into a csv file and a csv file into a cloverleaf table. The csv file should have/will be created with 2 columns.

i’d like to read an encrypted smat db from an external application. Opening it with a standard sqlite connection and using cipher authorization doesn’t work.

In an ib tps check you status and over the message if it doesn’t meet your test criteria.

this should work as a normal “in-house” ftp connection. If the vpn connection is established and the ftp port goes thru the firewall, you should directly reach the destination.

You can first try to ping the remote machine. If that works, try to ftp to that server from command line. If both works, you should also get a connection from Cloverleaf.

The idea with the Domain Account is the right one. Just create a standard domain User and put him in the local adminstrator Group. Then change the service User to this User and it will work.

We do this at all of our customers when running on Windows.

there is a difference in the way the shells were used in login in via telnet or on console.

normally you should call the cycleSMAT.bat script with the 3 arguments (see previous post). Then it should work. The backupSMAT.tcl script will be executed from the script.

this should be no problem. We have done something similar with Java for one of our customers here in Germany. Of course you can do the same in Tcl. Attached you’ll find a sample Java code for this.

– On the server start the ‘Server Admin’ Tool
– Go to the tab ‘advanced’
– Enter ‘-Xrs’ (without quotes) at the JVM arguments part.
– Press Save and close the tool.

To activate you’ll have to restart the host server.

you’ll have to check all the hl7 pathnames. The mismatch IR tag error usually indicates that you are using a wrong pathname in your translation. This mostly occurs if you change the record definition of your inbound or outbound hl7 variant, so that the segments or fields or now in a different group then before.

there are some samples and templates in the $HCIROOT/java_uccs/src directory.

Which kind of template you will have to use is depending on where you want to use the proc. Like in tcl there are different classes of java procs.
