We have basic security setup on 6.1.2. In the hciserveradmin tool, we can disable launch bar tools and can give specific users access in the exception list.
We have two scripts, one with all the startup commands, and the other simply calls it with the one line su – hci -c ‘/usr/local/scripts/start_engine.ksh’.
I like to do the same thing and have different color schemes for test and production. I haven’t figured out how to specify the current site but you can specify which profile you use if you put the server name in the putty profile name. I use the command PUTTY.EXE -load “Cloverleaf @H” and name my profiles “Cloverleaf vuxclovtst” and “Cloverleaf vuxclovprd”
