Having reached three score years and ten years I

I’m not registered for the knowledge base. I’ve just applied but it looks like it could take some time. Itried the search but found nothing relevant to Cloverleaf v6.0.

I’d be grateful if I could get a quick answer as I’m leaving my employment in just over a week and would like do finish the documentation before I leave.

I can’t find documentation relevant to the alternate server. Do you have an example of odbc.ini using alternate server.

Not resolved yet. TCPView is certainly a lot more useful than netstat. I’ve noticed that on a VPN connection, when opening Net Monitor that all the same ports connect as for a local connectection but one of them goes into TIME_WAIT after being ESTABLISHED. Unfortunately that doesn’t tell me a lot.

I’m on Cloverleaf 5.6 on Solaris 10 and these are the steps I have used in a situation similar to yours. Note vista.taf has been replaced by rdm.taf.

Does that make sense?

I think that’s how it’s supposed to work – just opening an empty editor. Cloverleaf doesn’t associate it with a tcl script or anything else.

I find the easiest way is to use a Windows editor (I use ConText) to enter the tcl script and then cut and paste into Cloverleaf.

This appears to indicate a problem with the dsn entry. Is it possible to diagnose the problem within tcl to a greater level of granularity?

I tried purge caches in a test environment and it successfully loaded the revised Xlate. So I bit the bullet and did it in the production environment . . . looks good. I also reloaded the tcl procs just in case.

I haven’t changed any routes. I’ve tweaked some Xlates, added a table and changed some tcl procs; and of course tested everything. I presume purge caches will reload all these.
