<p>Here is what I had to do.</p>
<p>1. make sure ws-client thread and ws-server thread are in different processes</p>

had to download cisco anyconnect from the app store to VPN into my network<br />
Then in the GM Mobile app configuration screen use 20453 for the port.</p>
