<p>Since about 5.8.5 and up the encoding feature was added to allow table entries to be encrypted. &nbsp;Some customer back in the past (gleaned from conversations with then Lawson R &amp; D support) wanted to encrypt provider ids and names. &nbsp;Well, the encryption is merely Base64 anyway which my mother could hack in her sleep.</p>

<p>However, other gui features like the NetMonitor Daemon status indicators disappear! &nbsp; We are running Integrator 6.1.0 and decided NOT to add that &#8220;hookloop&#8221; jvm arg due to NOT knowing exactly what other widgets may disappear too.</p>

Sometimes the drag on the hostserver is due to problems in the IDE like<br />
Xlate editing errors (bad structure) and it hangs while waiting for the IDE to just end itself or get killed by the end user.<br />

<p>We are currently running CIS6.1.0 on AIX 6100-09-03-1415<br />
two production servers and one test server just recently patched to SP4.</p>
<p>We did upgrade from CIS5.8.7.</p>
<p>I do recall some wrinkles between 5.7 and 5.8.<br />
Check the release notes about migration from 5.7 to 5.8.</p>

<p>Russ, our Tcl programs that invoke the msiAttach comannd surround the call with a catch. &nbsp;For a site we find that you can only call msiAttach once in a TCL instance (running program). &nbsp;Otherwise you get an error but it is not fatal. &nbsp;Keeps the return values &#8220;clean&#8221;.</p>

<p>Jim, you are correct from what we see here regarding HL7 standards and enforcing the rules. &nbsp;The 2.6 variants now include deprecated fields that are INSERTED (!) in several segments throwing off our field alignments.</p>

<p>Another point with the Ephemeral port range is that Cloverleaf uses it for assigning ports on multi-connect server connections. &nbsp;For us we have developed a script that we run on our test/production servers which creates a csv file that we merge and sort on port to find available ranges.<br />

<p>One and All, &nbsp;a colleague (Shane Farney) discovered the following to at least help make the NetConfig background look like the old 5.8 color:</p>
<p>(1) NetConfig configurator<br />
(2) Select client preferences<br />
(3) Uncheck option = Use uniform colored background<br />
Note: &#8220;colored&#8221; here is a bit oxymoron IMO.<br />

<p>Update: &nbsp;after doing a WebEx with INFOR support, we determined that our problems were similar to a reported incident from another customer running an earlier version of Global Monitor.</p>

<p>Suggestion: &nbsp;copy the entire field to a temporary variable<br />
and then in your Pre Proc regsub the contents of the temporary variable<br />
and map that to the output field.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t forget to set the output as a list:<br />
set xlateOutVals</p>
