<p>MobaXterm&#8217;s X client is super simple, and has the nice feature of prompting for X clients to connect, instead of having to remember xhost &#8230; &nbsp; I&#8217;ve also used Cygwin (hard to maintain because of the installer), and Xceed (no ssh in our licensed copies).</p>

<p>I saw a similar problem with the 5.8 client over Cisco VPN as well. &nbsp;This was I when using the tools that return stdout (e.g., testing tool, remote run). &nbsp;</p>

<p>This is a bit off-topic, but what version of Windows are you using for your client? &nbsp;The release notes say XP sp3 or Win7 enterprise SP1 x64. &nbsp;Do you know whether Win 7 enterprise x86 works for the 6.0 client?</p>
