      Thank you very much for all the replies. In my own little way I was able to determine that it will kill messages that did not have ‘E’ in PV2 and PV3 is empty, but I wanted to make sure that the code was not doing anything else.

          Hi Jim,

              Thanks Greg for your answer. One more question if you don’t mind. I want to save the messages in the error database to a file(Just in case). How do I send saved file messages through the engine?

                  Please forgive the ignorance…still not getting it.

                  I created a view called “mrn” which loaded the mrn 000686400 and I added this to my view, then I go back in and created another view called “ORU” and when I use this, it basically just loaded all the ORUs in the SMAT file.

                    Thanks for the reply. The only thing with that is that the feed also has ORMs which I don’t want to send.

                      Hi Robert,

                      Thank you for your reply. Yes, there was already an xlate for that particular thread, so I copied it and started working with that and I was able to copy ORC7 into ORC9. I just needed that push in the right direction. Thanks again
