I don’t have any information like but I sure wish I did.
It’s a message app were people join and ask questions about Cloverleaf. I hope the people who uses CL will be able to join and help others or get help from others.
I just created the channel so we will go through some pains as we try to get more users to join. I know that everyone has other jobs but I ask for anyone to join whether you are a beginner or if you have years of experience. This will only be successful if the community wants it to be.
Steve,
Thanks for the input and giving us some feedback. Look forward to seeing Clovertech 2.0
David,
That’s my line of thinking. Sometimes people will have a quick question on how to do something.
I think it would benefit the entire Cloverleaf community. I will be setting up a Slack workspace in 2-4 weeks and those who want to join will be more than welcomed.
I don’t know if any configuration changes in CL. Is CL installed on the VM server?
I haven’t heard back from any official Infor Reps so I will be creating a Slack workspace in the near future.
I would like to know if people are willing to join it or if any Infor Reps have an issue with me creating one so that the CL community can get help from one another.
I have not but it does sound interesting. Also, I think Infor needs a Slack workspace.
You could write a TCL script that loops through and check the initial file size, sleep about 3 seconds, and then check it again. If the file size matches or if the file has already been moved then check to see if the file exists, then you would issue the pstop command. If it does not match, you would loop through again.
I think a script would be the best way to handle it. Although, I have used Alerts to do some kind of checking like check the last read message time or checking the up time of a thread and have it execute a command to stop or start a thread.
I am not sure if you got this resolved or not but I saw a similar issue in 6.1. I would set up an alert and see it fire in the alert logs. What worked for me was to restart monitord via the GUI or command line. Have you tried that?
I would have to agree with that. It all depends on the expertise of the staff. I have used CL on both OS’s and I prefer Linux. With Linux, imho, you have more powerful tools at the command line than you do with Windows.
The major issue with Windows for me was updates and patches. I would have to reboot the server every 3 months. Other interface analysts liked Windows because it was point and click mostly and they had very little experience with Linux.
With Linux, it will take some time to learn the OS and learn some of the CL commands, but once you learn it, you will use it often. I would have to reboot Linux about once ever 2 – 3 yr due to facility wide network issues. Other than that, I wouldn’t have to reboot.
If it’s possible, set up both Windows and Linux, install and get a short term license from CL, and evaluate it.
Here is how I have wild card routing defined :
ADT_A(0[12]|0[456789]).*
I handle the A03 message like I would any normal route with this:
ADT_A03.*
The reason I handle the A03 with a different Xlate is because the DG1 segment comes before the OBX segment.
Did you get this resolved?
May 15, 2012 at 5:46 pm in reply to: need to use a table for a list of codes that have ^ in them #76557Good tip! I’ll use it next time. May 15, 2012 at 12:08 pm in reply to: need to use a table for a list of codes that have ^ in them #76554Although this suggestion requires a few extra lines, try this :
1. Null out MSH.4 first on a COPY by itself.
source:
@null
@null
@null
destination:
0(0).MSH(0).#4(0).[0]
0(0).MSH(0).#4(0).[1]
0(0).MSH(0).#4(0).[2]
2. Store your table answer to a variable
0(0).PV1(0).#3(0).[0] -> tableLookup -> @pv1_tbl_value
3. Assign the variable to MSH.4
Source:
@pv1_tbl_value
Destination:
MSH.4
I know there is a more efficient way of doing this but I remind myself that I will have other people behind me who will be looking at my work.
Could you be a little more specific?
Thanks
