<p>I run hciss and hcisitectl and they both time out. I then bounce monitor daemon and things just start working. This happened shortly after the rev3 patch was installed.</p>

So you will need to find the date time in the text line. </p>
<p>You can do this it is &nbsp;just a little more complex then you may think.<br />

First take the message into the tester using your Variant to make sure that works. Then run it through the translation test. </p>
<p>If you don&#8217;t get the errors there then you will not get them in the engine.<br />
Make sure when you define your translation to use your new variant.</p>

<p>What I think you might do is report this a bug. I&#8217;m guess your issue is with the regsub command.<br />
So try &#8220;set xlateOutVals [ list [ [string map {&#8220;,&#8221; &#8221; &#8220;} &nbsp;$ADDR1]]&#8221;<br />
I&#8217;m sure someone will find something wrong with this but it works for me. </p>

The important one is to replace the PV1_3 part of fieldList before you join and append it to the message. </p>
<p>Is it working for you know ?</p>
<p>It would be time well spent to put this into and Xlate where it all belongs. In this form I&#8217;m sure you know it is really not very supportable.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Jim I have not used the ODBC stuff inside a translation for all the reasons you just mentioned. &nbsp;It just adds a level of complexity that can be avoided pretty easily but modifying the message before hand.<br />
Depending on what I&#8217;m connecting to and it&#8217;s reliability I do either a shutdown or a try x time to connect then shutdown.</p>

Simple create a route going to your destination and route the A01 then create a second thread going to file &#8220;/dev/null&#8221; and route everything else. This is not perfect, but it is quick and easy.</p>

<p>I did get it to work with an HRL within an HRL.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m really curious about the Block repeat and what it does.<br />
I have used HRL to solve many different issues. But it has taken lots of trail and error to get it done. I really think there is lots of potential to do things with it.</p>

Take the test message and run it through the test tool.<br />
From what I can tell you VRL looks correct. But I always miss some field or some field so the testing tool has shown me many times the error of my ways. </p>

Either remove Bulkcopy and copy everthing on a field / segment level and only copy the 1st insurance over or change the variant and make the IN? segments not repeaing.</p>

The system I&#8217;m working for require the ACK on the same thread as their inbound orders and ADT so it was easy to user your option one. </p>
