<p>Thanks for your input, but I failed to mention in the initial post that I experimented and tried all those options for datatypes in the original .frl that defines the record layout.</p>
<p>Regardless of ch, nm, ai&#8230;&#8230;the leading zero&#8217;s are always stripped on the fetch.</p>

<p>Did all the Raima recovery commands we could&#8230;to no avail. &nbsp;ended up having to dump the good messages and then reinit the DB.</p>
<p>My main focus at this point is to see what may be causing this. &nbsp;I know it is wide open, but was hoping someone else may have run into a similar issue.</p>
