If you use the SMAT database instead of SMAT files, then you don’t have this issue.

Sometimes you have to stay away from Pathcopy, particularly when there are a lot of fields that you don’t want to send.

Make sure “hci” owns all the Cloverleaf files.   We’ve had issues with the testing tool if one of the users (not hci) owns the Cloverleaf file.

We opened Inclident Ticket 8522462 previously with Infor.  It was my understanding that this is the normal behavior for Sqllite.

However, hcismatconvert won’t work if the new records aren’t committed to smatdb and are instead in smatdb-wal.

We wrote a script to pull out messages from Smat database.

However, the script can’t be used on the current file because Sqllite is not committing changes to smatdb immediately.  You might notice that  x.smatdb-wal file have a more current date than x.smatdb.  When the smatdb-wal gets above a certain size, then the records in smatdb-wal are copied into smatdb.  The Smat Database tool can view all records from smatdb and new records from smatdb-wal.

We didn’t have direct help with upgrading from Cloverleaf 5.8 to 6.1.  However, I did open a number of tickets with Infor Extreme on various issues.  I read everything on Clovertech about 6.1.

                  1) Had issue because we didn’t have all the 32-bit libraries installed on Linux.

                  2) Had issues with Linux OS setup in terms of “number of Open files”.  Linux administrator fixed the issue.

3 Administrator certificates from old box didn’t work on new box. Worked with Infor Extreme to install new certificates.

                  4) Asked for more information on setting up LDAP and then had to get help when I made a mistake in the “group” settings.

                  5) Had issues with opening Help files in 6.1.  I went from IE 8 to IE 11.

                  6) Opened Clovertech issue on where to setup cycling of  Smat databases

                  .

Note: for SMAT DB, the compressed file is larger than the raw file. So no need to compress.  I don’t think this is correct.

From our experience, the compressed (gzipped) SmatDB file was smaller than the raw file.

We are also looking for a daily “auto cycle”.  We are gzipping our archived Smat database files and it makes a big difference.

Right now we are using SmatHistory.  We are working on plan to move archved Smat database files to separate box.   You can unzip the files in SmatHistory and search them with the SmatDatabase tool.

We are using the Smat Databases with Smat history enabled.  However, we did not configure “automatic smat cycling” under the process configuration.  We use a script to cycle save the smat files daily and compress them.  We liked the idea of the cycled Smat files having a date time stamp.  Then you don’t have the issue of one “.old” file overlaying another.

We got this error today when trying to save a translation.  Some lines of code were commented out and another line was commented in.

I had a problem displaying “help” with Cloverleaf 6.1 and IE 8 on Windows 7.

When I switched to IE11,  I haven’t had any problems.

We temporarily moved our files (HL7 variants, Tables, tclprocs) from the master site to the sites where we were doing the hcixltconvert.
