    Hi folks,

I am using a file as a counter.

An xlate will read the existing value from the file, output to @ctr, get stuff done and increment the value by 1.

    So far so good.

However, I can’t seem to write that new value back to the counter from the xlate.

    Please advise. TIA!

      David,

Are you using the ‘counter’ extensions available within Cloverleaf (i.e. ‘CtrNextValue’)?  If not, look at the information available within the Cloverleaf ‘Reference Guide’ under Tcl Extensions, Counter commands.

      Hope that helps.

      Very happy!

      Works like a charm!

And it’s been there since early 5.x version! What have I been missing? 😛
