      Scenario.

Complex coding for ADT’s – using separate Xlates for A01 thru A40, is there a way to have a “sub xlate” or something similar that can just be called or included ( Like the CALL function ), so there is no need to edit same code in each Xlate

          Andre,

You can skinny the Actions down into an Xlate file and then copy that Xlate into another Xlate from within the GUI.

That way you would have an .xlt file with only what you needed for the PID segment for example. Then in the A01 Xlate copy that Xlate with just the PID stuff into the A01 Xlate.

Not as nice as with 3.5 and before where you could COPY from one Xlate and PASTE in another but it works.

I believe there is a request to return the COPY/PASTE capability between Xlates using a clipboard.

            Andre,

As Jim indicated, you can pare down your Xlate to contain the actions that you want to reuse, then save it as it’s own Xlate.  You can then use the ‘File -> Insert File’ option off the Xlate GUI to insert the mini-Xlate into your existing translate.
