I may soon have access to 19.1. While on 6.0 I used the STRING Action Functions (not all of them).

It appeared to me the various STRING Action Functions were individual Tcl modules having a specific structure.

I had on my ‘interesting to find out list’ to determine if one could write their own STRING Action functions. There are some String options I would like to see exposed through the STRING Action.

The first task would be to find the location of the current modules.

Second would be to understand what the structure constraints might.

Last experiment writing additional modules and having them available in the GUI.

Has anyone already started down this path and willing to share their discoveries?

    Thanks
