Can any one guide me as to what file format should we use in the test tool to display vaild output while parsing a X12 format file. I am using a X12 file with a .txt extension.

      Should this work?

I am not sure if the error I am getting is because on the input files extension while running this through the tester.

      Thank you for any guidence.

          Amol,

I’m assuming that the file contains one record/line; if that is the case then you should be able to specify Newline-terminated in the Testing tool, using your file as input.

Jim, thanks for your input. I am using new line terminated but continue to get the following error. I have attached the error and the file that I am trying to parse. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I am using X12 version 004010. Thanks Amol
