      Has anyone experienced this before?

I’m on a windows 2008 server…loaded cl6.1 and trying to test smat data…. I load the smat file, I can select one message and have it resend through the inbound thread without a problem, but when I select all the messages to resend, it starts (percentage bar says 11%), but then hangs.  I can cancel out, but then I have to “End Task” of the screen.  The smat file has 35000+ records.  Not sure if that could be part of the problem?

      Thanks for your help!

I have experienced this before with large result messages. The only solution that seemed to work for me was to archive a majority of the messages in the SMAT. If you have the ability to do that, I would start there.

          Thank you

I tried to break up the smat into about 10,000 records and it did the same thing..is that what you mean?

What I did was “cycle save” and archive the messages out. Essentially only leaving a week or so worth of messages in the SMAT (depending on your message load). Crontab can be used to schedule archives like this.

              Hope this helps.

              Thank you

I’m actually taking a production file (it’s only half the day)…to a new cloverleaf install to test/validate data….I normally take a whole day’s worth of data and run it through my new cloverleaf threads and compare the output smat….this is NOT going to be an easy feat, I have feeling….

I’m at the point now of breaking down into about 5000 messages to separate files and then I can use them to send through the NetMonitor…I may have to open up ticket with Infor…

                Thanks,

Ok. I thought you were talking test. Does it matter which chuck of messages you try to view (beginning / end) ? I have seen certain messages cause issues like this before as well.

                    Thank you,

                    Jon

I figured it out….I am pulling 5.5 data and trying to send it through on 6.1….I had to run hcismatconvert.

Thanks for you input…I sure appreciate it!
