Which protocol would we use to get a file from a SFTP server?

Fileset FTP but you also need either the Web Services Plugin or the secure data (I don’t recall the product name) plugin to do the security piece. Web Services includes the security piece.

With the security pieces in place and given the appropriate configuration settings, I found it worked well. That was on CL 6.0.

We do not have the Web Services Plugin.  How would I tell if we have the secure date plugin?

Perhaps the Infor site for your account has what you are licensed for.

The process log shows the licenses on startup but those are codes not necessarily addon names and may not be readily apparent.

Your account manager should be able to tell you.

Also, if I recall correctly, if you are not licensed the section of the Protocol where you specify the Security (SSL, etc.) settings is greyed out. If that is not greyed out and you are not licensed I think you get an error when you try to actually run the thread.

The component is called “Secure Messenger”.  You will receive an error if you try to run a thread with a secure protocol and you’re not licensed.

As Jim says please reach out to your account executive or Support to understand your entitlements.

The Web Services adapter does not enable secure FTP.
