I would like to solicit an informal poll of how an Integration Analyst/Cloverleaf Analyst is positioned within your respective organizations. Particularly I’m interested in finding which area of your organization’s IT department owns the interface engine.

Please name the department you are in and choose from the following: ERP, Enterprise, Revenue Cycle, Clinical, Networking, Decision Support, Other[Please Specify]

      Example: IT – Revenue Cycle

Your vote would be greatly appreciated. Any intelligent discussion on why one area might be better/preferred than another is absolutely welcome!

      Thanks for your participation,

      Wesley

Here at Children’s, ‘ownership’ belongs to the Systems & Development Team.  SysDev is under the Tech Services directorate of the IS Division.  Systems administers all mid-range servers, storage, DR and upgrades.   Development is responsible for interface analysis, development, testing, implementation and code maintenance.

I work in the Information Department.

In the NHS in England, Information departments have to regularly submit mountains of detailed reports in order to get funding from the Government. This, apart from some revenues from private medicine, is our only source of funding.
