When to Tcl procs invoked inside Cloverleaf get compiled?

All,

I have always wondered of the Tcl procs invoked from UPoCs and/or inside Xlates were compiled at the time the engine loads them or at the time they are actually called by the engine.

Hopefully once of the clovertechers out there knows the answer.

The first time the proc is called it is byte coded.  Since it remains in the interpreter as long as the thread is running it will remain byte coded.
