What’s the right place for generating an ack

Hi Guys, What is a good place for the ACK to be placed at? So far, I have seen it in 2 different places

– On the thread configuration, under the inbound tab, the ack tps can be plugged in at “TPS Inbound Data”

– On the thread configuration, under the outbound tab, the ack tps can be plugged in at “TPS Inbound Reply”

What would be the correct place for it?

For generating an ACK, you want to place your proc in the Inbound Data context of the Inbound thread.

The “TPS Inbound Reply” context on the outbound tab of your outbound thread is for handling Acknowldegments coming into the engine.  So these are two totally different contexts.
