      Hello,

We are running Cloverleaf 5.4 on AIX 5.3 and are planning to upgrade to 5.7 before year end.

I was recently reviewing the Cloverleaf 5.7.1 Rev1 release notes and noticed the following warning regarding backups:

10.2.11    Users must not run backup utilities while processes are running

You should not run backup utilities on the Cloverleaf

          Troy,

Generally it does not make sense to backup anything in the /exec directories as the information in there is really time sensitive for the most part so you probably don’t want to restore those files over a running engine.

I was asking just so I would know which files are sensitive to backups and why, so I can pass the info to our Tivoli admins.

            Thanks.
