I’m trying to process a vrl file with over 100 records. Only one record shows up in the inbound thread. Each record has 0D0A as a record terminator. I have inserted the 0A0D in the termination in the global properties in the VRL. I’ve also tried it without the 0D0A as a terminator and only one record shows up in the inbound thread. The file works fine in the xlt tester. Any ideas appreciated.

          Jim,

What is “Style” for this thread, and what are the Read Interval and Max Messages set at?  Also, I’m assuming that the each transation in the file is terminated by a newline character; to verify this use the ‘hcihd’ command on the file to display the actual hex values of the data.

Thanks for the response. I’ve got the problem solved. The newline chars were not being recognized. I used a proc that recognizes the newline chars that I placed in the directory parse parameter.

            Thanks

            Jim
