It is probably too much to expect but check with the vendor to see if they are sending as an ED Data Type and following the use of the components, etc. for that Data Type.
In any case you will need to find out if they are sending this as a single component field or multi-component and what the component usage is.
Also you need to find out if the receivingsystem can handle the data and how they want it presented.
