Updateing outdated DR

Hello all,

I hope that I can get some assistance with this…

I am wanting to update a site on our Disaster Relief Cloverleaf engine (which currently has an outdated version of our production environment) with the current production environment site.

I feel like I have done this before…but I don’t remember the do’s and the don’ts of the operation.

Is it as simple as copying from one site directory on one machine and pasting to the desired site directory on the other machine? I feel that there are some constraints…like not copying exec and database stuff…is that correct? Could some one please share with me the protocol to copy production stuff to another CL engine?

I have used the hcisitetar to do this. It is in the $HCIROOT/contrib directory.

Hi,

Exclude the ‘exec’ directory from your copy/backup. You could also exclude locks and revisions.
